At Random Sounds, we believe the future of music relies on robust, ethical, and collaborative digital infrastructure. That’s why we’re proud to announce our official membership in the Music Fights Fraud Alliance (MFFA), a global coalition of platforms, distributors, and rights organizations working together to combat fraudulent activity in music streaming.

Founded in 2023, the MFFA enables its members to identify, prevent, and respond to fraud at scale, in real time. It collaborates with the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA) to maintain a shared database of verified fraud indicators, allowing for cross-industry intelligence sharing and swift response protocols.

Streaming fraud is not a marginal issue: some estimates indicate up to 10% of all streams may be impacted by fraudulent practices, diverting value, distorting market data, and undermining confidence across the ecosystem.

Joining the MFFA is both a technical and strategic move, one that reinforces our internal safeguards, aligns us with global standards, and allows us to contribute to the development of shared tools, methodologies, and educational efforts to protect the digital value chain.

Random Sounds builds technology to power a more transparent, trustworthy, and sustainable music industry. This new chapter strengthens our commitment to that mission.
