This week we are back in Bilbao for BIME, one of the most important bridges between the European and Latin American music industries.
Through October 30, the city is bringing together labels, distributors, managers, promoters, and music tech companies from both sides of the Atlantic. We’re here for what we value most about this event: connecting in person and strengthening ties between Europe and LATAM through our technology.
BIME, a must-attend event
BIME has been held in Bilbao since 2013, and this year marks its 14th edition. It combines BIME Pro, the professional program at the Euskalduna Palace, with BIME Live, the showcase festival that takes over venues and stages across the city.
The agenda includes speed meetings, workshops, and forums on rights, new business models, and music technology. But much of its value lies in the conversations that happen between sessions. With its sister edition in Bogotá, BIME is a true bridge between the two markets.
Our delegation
This year we are traveling with a team covering product, sales, and client relations:
- Mark Meyer, Founder and CEO
- Os Sánchez, Co-founder and CPO
- Germán Lesme, Co-founder and VP of Sales
- Alan Winekker, Key Account Manager
If you’re at the Euskalduna these days, we’d love to chat about technology, partnerships, or how to streamline your catalog operations.
What we’re bringing to Bilbao
Random Sounds was born within the music industry, and from there, we build technology for the independent sector. To BIME, we are bringing both sides of that work: our distribution platform for artists and White Label, the infrastructure that established labels and distributors use to manage their business under their own brand.
With White Label, every company has its catalog, royalties, and payments in one place, with onboarding in 5 to 20 days and 0% commission on charges to their users.
Our teams are based in Asunción, Buenos Aires, and Montevideo. For European companies looking at Latin America, we are a partner that knows the market firsthand. For Latin American companies looking to grow, we provide infrastructure designed to go beyond the region.
Let's talk in Bilbao
If you're at BIME and want to discuss distribution, royalties, or your current projects, email us at info@sounds.co and we'll coordinate a time to meet.
See you in Bilbao.
